so on my flight from boston to long beach I sat next to a girl, a fellow BU student. today, I got settled into my seat, look up and see the same girl! she’s on the same flight as me. small world, no? we exchanged awkward “hi”s. it would’ve been so crazy if she sat next to me again. now, I’m officially about to leave beautiful california for 4 months :(

I slept at 10 pm ish and then woke up at 2 am. been up since. I don’t like it. not one bit. I want my sleep. so I’ve been shopping for boots/stuff on sale online, checking out bus fares from boston to nyc, checking hotel rates for nyc, looking up the textbooks I need on amazon, thinking about what I need to pack for boston, and listening to music. when a friend is sad and feeling down, you should console her and try to cheer her up, not ignore and avoid her. that leaves her feeling more sad than she was initially feeling. friends are supposed to be there for one another, not just for the fun stuff, but during the hard stuff too. next time, please remember that.
